Last weekend was cloudy and a little cool and it rained a little.  We had 20 on Saturday and 27 on Sunday.  This is still so much better than a year ago.  Since this next weekend is just after the 1st of the month, we are expecting more.

We are re-doing our menu, raising the prices some and adding a few more drinks.

Last Sunday a couple of guys brought four dogs and did not look after them carefully enough, they bothered several customers, one, a toothless Xoloitzcuentli, tried to bite several people.  I will probably do that also when I lose all my teeth.  He was about as hyper as Cihuatl is, but we don't allow Cihuatl with the customers.  So, we are no longer allowing pets at the spa, except our own, only Rosita goes inside the spa, we keep the others in the reception room.

Alberto left Monday to meet his father in Juarez.  His father has an appointment at the US Embassy there on Thursday morning, but before then, he has to have a medical exam, which he had today, and he has to get his fingerprints done, which is tomorrow.  Alberto should be back here Friday.  He says downtown Juarez is rather awful, lots of empty lots where stores used to be.

Today we had a lot of water delivered and got all three LP gas tanks filled.  Gustavo planted the 18 or so poinsettias that have been in pots on the steps of the spa since last year.  I may not put other plants on the steps until the rainy season, there are already the birds of paradise on each side of the steps, that is enough for now.

Viny and I went to Cuernavaca yesterday and ordered new cards for our frequent customer program, we are switching from a free entrance after 3 visits to a free entrance after 5 visits.  I also ordered a couple of large canvases containing our spa rules to put on the walls of the spa.  We also had to go to the Cuernavaca office again to get our health insurance paid, as we forgot the deadline this month, which occurred while we were in Puerto Vallarta.  We were told we still could have done it on our own computer, so next time we forget, we will remember that, I hope.

Mario cleaned out the fountain today and got the pump going again, after several months.  It looks nice again.

The water was filled with water plants, we are only putting a few back at the moment, as they will grow again.

This is the wonderful little Prieto, he is now lying in my lap.  He gets to go outside a lot with me, as he is very good at staying with me, and either comes when I call him or at least does not run from me and allows me to pick him up easily.  He is a great little dog.

All these red spots are some of the poinsettias that Gustavo planted today, in front of the spa.  They may need shade and not so much sun, but they will just have to cope the best they can.

Tomorrow we plan to remove the little copper tube that makes the water go about two meters into the air, as a lot will be lost with even a little breeze.  We just want to clay pot to overflow down the sides, as this will help aerate the water, and while some will evaporate, at least it won't blow out with the wind.
